খাদ্য অধিদপ্তরের ১০টি ক্যাটাগরির এক হাজার ৩৫টি শূন্যপদে নিয়োগ পরীক্ষা আগামী নভেম্বর মাসে শুরু হবে। প্রথম ধাপে অফিস সহকারী কাম কম্পিউটার মুদ্রাক্ষরিক ও ডাটা এন্ট্রি অপারেটরের ৪০৮টি শূন্য পদে ওই মাসের প্রথম সপ্তাহে বা তার কাছাকাছি সময়ে পরীক্ষা হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। অন্যান্য ক্যাটাগরিতে নিয়োগের লিখিত-এমসিকিউ পরীক্ষা এ বছরই নেওয়া হবে।

সোমবার (২০ সেপ্টেম্বর) সংসদ ভবনে অনুষ্ঠিত খাদ্য মন্ত্রণালয় সম্পর্কিত সংসদীয় কমিটির বৈঠকে মন্ত্রণালয়ের পক্ষ থেকে এমন তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে বলে বৈঠক সূত্রে জানা গেছে।

জানা গেছে, এক হাজার ৩৫টি শূন্য পদের বিপরীতে ১৩ লাখ ৭২ হাজার ৮৪৫ জন চাকরির আবেদন করেছেন। এ হিসেবে প্রতিটি পদের বিপরীতে আবেদন পড়েছে ১ হাজার ৩২৬টি।

সোমবারের সংসদীয় কমিটির বৈঠকের কার্যপত্র থেকে জানা গেছে, নিয়োগ পরীক্ষার জন্য ডিজিটাল পদ্ধতিতে প্রশ্নপত্র প্রণয়ন ও উত্তরপত্র মূল্যায়নের জন্য গত ১৫ মে বুয়েটের আইআইসিটি (ইন্সটিটিউট অব ইনফরমেশন অ্যান্ড কমিউনিকেশন টেকনোলজি) বিভাগের সাথে চুক্তি করা হয়েছে। করোনা সংক্রমণ পরিস্থিতি বিবেচনা করে স্বাস্থ্য বিধি মেনে বৃহত্তর জেলা শহর বা প্রয়োজনে নিকটবর্তী জেলায় নিয়োগ পরীক্ষা গ্রহণের পরিকল্পনা নেওয়া হয়েছে।

নিয়োগের লিখিত ও এমসিকিউ পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠানে বৃহত্তর জেলাসহ খাদ্য অধিদফতরের সংশ্লিষ্টদের প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হয়েছে। এমসিকিউ পরীক্ষা গ্রহণের জন্য ওএমআর শিট ছাপানো ও প্রিস্কেনিং সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

চলতি বছরের মধ্যে সার্কুলার দেওয়া সব নিয়োগের লিখিত/এমসিকিউ পরীক্ষা শেষ করার কথা সংসদীয় কমিটির বৈঠকে খাদ্য সচিব জানিয়েছেন।

জানা গেছে, প্রথম ধাপে অফিস সহকারী কাম কম্পিউটার মুদ্রাক্ষরিক ও ডাটা এন্টি অপারেটরের ৪০৮টি শূন্য পদে ৮টি বিভাগীয় শহরে পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠানের লক্ষ্যে কেন্দ্রগুলোর সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করা হচ্ছে। এ পদের নিয়োগ আগামী ২২ অক্টোবর নিয়োগের পরিকল্পনা থাকলেও ওই সময় বুয়েটের ভর্তি পরীক্ষা থাকায় কিছুটা পেছানো হচ্ছে।

এ দিকে খাদ্য মন্ত্রণালয়ের আওতাধীন নিরাপদ খাদ্য কর্তৃপক্ষের ৫৫টি শূন্য পদের নিয়োগ পরীক্ষা আগামী ২২ অক্টোবর বা কাছাকাছি সময়ে নেয়ার পরিকল্পনা নেওয়া হয়েছে। এ জন্য ঢাকার বিভিন্ন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে চিঠি দেওয়া হয়েছে।
