The High Court bench comprising Justice Mainul Islam Chowdhury and Justice JBM Hassan gave the order after hearing a writ petition on Sunday. Concerned lawyers said that the results of these three banks will be postponed in eight of the eight banks scheduled to be held on January 12.

Bangladesh Bank’s Bankers Selection Committee secretary and Bangladesh Bank General Manager Mosharraf Hossain Khan said in the first light that the appointment test of Janata, Sonali and Rupali banks scheduled for Jan 12 will be postponed due to the court order. But other banks will be tested. He said, “The three banks which have given the suspension of the High Court suspension on the examination of the three banks will be taken after the examination. The examination of five other banks will be held in due time.

Together with eight government banks and financial institutions, the appointment of senior officers (general) ‘1,1663 vacancies was to be held on January 12. In the meantime, the seating of the examination was also given. Candidates have to take 100 hours of MCQ test.

It was stated in the circular that 527 of Sonali Bank Limited, 161 of Janata Bank Limited, 283 of Rupali Bank Limited, 39 from Bangladesh Development Bank Limited, 351 in Bangladesh Agricultural Bank, 231 in Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank, 1 in Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation and 1 Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) There are 70 posts.
