১. দেশ গঠনে বাংলাদেশ সরকারি কর্ম কমিশনের এর ভূমিকা সম্পর্কে ১০ টি বাক্য লিখুন। ১. বাংলাদেশ সরকারি কর্মকমিশন প্রজাতন্ত্রের কর্মে নিয়োগের জন্য উপযুক্ত এবং যোগ্যতাসম্পন্ন ব্যক্তি নির্বাচন করার ক্ষমতাপ্রাপ্ত একটি সাংবিধানিক প্রতিষ্ঠান। ২. সরকারী কর্ম কমিশন একটি স্বায়িত্বশাসিত সংস্থা যার দায়িত্ব সরকারি চাকুরীতে নিয়োগ সংক্রান্ত দায়িত্ব পালন করা ৩. দেশে তার প্রতিরূপ সংস্থাসমূহের মতো প্রজাতন্ত্রের কর্মে নিযুক্ত মানব সম্পদ পরিকল্পনায় উৎকর্ষ সাধনের পাশাপাশি জনপ্রশাসন ব্যবস্থাপনায় নিরপেক্ষতা নিশ্চিত করতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ জাতীয় ভূমিকা পালন করছে। ৪. কর্ম কমিশন দেশব্যাপি প্রতিযোগিতামূলক পরীক্ষার মাধ্যমে, প্রজাতন্ত্রের কর্মে নিয়োগ লাভের উপযুক্ত ব্যক্তি নিয়োগ দেয়। ৫. প্রতিষ্ঠানটি বিভিন্ন দেশে তার প্রতিরূপ সংস্থাসমূহের মতো প্রজাতন্ত্রের কর্মে নিযুক্ত মানব সম্পদ পরিকল্পনায় উৎকর্ষ সাধনের পাশাপাশি জনপ্রশাসন ব্যবস্থাপনায় নিরপেক্ষতা নিশ্চিত করতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ জাতীয় ভূমিকা পালন করছে। ৬. সরকারি কর্মচারীদের বিভিন্ন শৃঙ্খলা ও আপীল বিষয়ে পরামর্শ দান। ৭. সরকারি কর্মচারীদের চাকুরির শর্তাদি প্রভাবিত করে এমন সব বিষয়ে পরামর্শ দান ৮. নিয়োগ সংক্রান্ত প্রয়োজনীয় বিধি, নিয়োগ দানের ক্ষেত্রে অনুসরণীয় নীতিমালা, সরকারি চাকুরিতে পদোন্নতি ও বদলি সংক্রান্ত নীতিমালা প্রণয়ন এবং সরকারি কর্মকর্তাদের মধ্যেকার পারস্পরিক জ্যেষ্ঠতা নিরূপণের ক্ষেত্রে পরামর্শ প্রদান ৯. বিভাগীয় ও পেশাগত বিভিন্ন পরীক্ষার নিয়মাবলি ও পাঠ্যসূচি পরীক্ষা ও অনুমোদন এবং সরকারি কর্মচারীদের জন্য সেসব পরীক্ষার আয়োজন ১০. বিভিন্ন মন্ত্রণালয় ও বিভাগের অধীনস্থ অ্যাড হক ভিত্তিক নিয়োগ অনুমোদন ২. শুদ্ধ করে লিখুনঃ অশুদ্ধঃ শুদ্ধ কন্টক- কণ্টক জানুয়ারী- জানুয়ারি সরকারী- সরকারি ম্যাজিষ্ট্রেট-ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট পাখী-পাখি ৩. সকল কারকে ৭মী বিভক্তির উদাহরণ দিন। পাগলে কিনা বলে। ( পাগলে কর্তৃকারকে সপ্তমী। এখানে পাগলের শেষে এ বিভক্তি যোগহয়েছে। ) গুরুজনে সালাম দাও। (কাকে সালাম দাও? গুরুজনে। এখানে গুরুজন কর্মকারক। আর এর শেষে যোগ হয়েছে এ বিভক্তি।) টাকায় কিনা হয়। (টাকার দ্বারা কিনা হয়। এখানে টাকা হচ্ছে করণ কারক । আর এর শেয়ে য় যোগ হয়েছে। ) দীনে দয়া করো। ( দয়া করে মানুষ নিঃস্বার্থভাবে। নিৰস্বার্থ বুঝালে সম্প্রদান কারক হয়। আর দীন এর শেষে যোগ হয়েছে এ বিভক্তি।) পরাজয়ে ডরেনা বীর। (ভীত, উৱপন্ন, গৃহীত বুঝালে অপাদান কারক হয়। আর পরাজয় এর শেষে যোগ হয়েছে এ বিভক্তি।) তিলে তৈল আছে। কোথায়,কখন বুঝালে অধিকরণ কারক হয়।কোথায় তৈল আছে? তিলে। সুতারং তিল অধিকরণ কারক। আর এর শেষে যোগ হয়েছে এ বিভক্তি।) ৪. অর্থসহ বাক্য রচনা করুনঃ ডুমুরের ফুল-দুর্লভ বস্তু। সরকারি চাকরি আজকাল ডুমুরের ফুল হয়ে গেছে অকালকুষ্মাণ্ড- অকর্মণ্য বা অপদার্থ। পরিবারের বা সমাজে ক্ষতি করে এমন সন্তানকে অকালকুষ্মাণ্ড  হিসাবে বিবেচনা করা হয়। সোনার পাথর বাটি- অলীক বস্ত বা অসম্ভব বস্ত। চাঁদের বুড়ি হলো আমাদের কাছে সোনার পাথর বাটি। কলুর বলদ- একটানা খাটুনি করে যে। আমার মতো কলুর বলদ সংসারে আর কজন আছে। আমড়া কাঠের ঢেঁকি- অপদার্থ বা অকেজো। বর্তমান শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থা আস্ত আমড়া কাঠের ঢেঁকি।

Consequences of climate change include sea level rise, flooding, increased tropical storm activity, water scarcity, heat waves, reduction of agriculture, and glacial retreat. 10. There is no scientific debate on the existence or cause of current climate change; the debate centers on how to address the problem as one of the defining issues of the 21st century. 7. Translate into English:  a. বিষয়টি সভায় আলোচিত হয়েছিল। The topic was discussed in the meeting. b. আমি সাঁতার কাটতে জানি না- I do not know how to swim. c. হুমায়ুন ছিলেন বাবরের বড় পুত্র । Humayun was the eldest son of Babar. d. হায়! আমার সর্বনাশ হয়েছে। Alas! I have been destroyed. e. সে ষ্টেশন পৌচ্ছার পুর্বে ট্রেন ছেড়ে দিল। The train had left before he reached the station.

৯. একটি চৌবাচ্চায় ৮০০০ লিটার পানি ধরে । চৌবাচ্চাটির দৈঘ্য ২.৫ মিটার এবং প্রস্থ ১.২৫ মিটার হলে গভীরতা কত? চৌবাচ্চাটিতে পানি ধরে ৮০০০ লিটার অতএব, চৌবাচ্চার আয়তন ৮০০০ লিটার = ৮০০০ × ১০০০ ঘন সেমি. [ ১ লিটার = ১০০০ ঘন সেমি.] = ৮০০০০০০ ঘন সেমি. দেওয়া আছে, চৌবাচ্চাটির দৈর্ঘ্য = ২.৫৬ মিটার = ২.৫৬×১০০ সেমি. = ২৫৬ সেমি.। চৌবাচ্চার প্রস্থ = ১.২৫ মিটার = ১.২৫×১০০ সেমি. = ১২৫ সেমি.। মনে করি, চৌবাচ্চার গভীরতা ক সেমি. তাহলে, চৌবাচ্চাটির আয়তন = দৈর্ঘ্য×প্রস্থ×গভীরতা = ২৫৬×১২৫×ক ঘন সেমি. প্রশ্নমতে, ২৫৬×১২৫×ক = ৮০০০০০০ বা, ৩২০০০×ক = ৮০০০০০০ বা, ক =২৫০ চৌবাচ্চাটির গভীরতা = ২৫০ সেমি. ১ মিটার = ১০০ সেমি. তাইলে ২৫০ সেমি=  = ২.৫ মিটার নির্ণেয় গভীরতা ২.৫ মিটার ১০. দুই অঙ্কবিশিষ্ট কোন সংখ্যার অঙ্কদ্বয়ের সমষ্টির সাথে ৭ যোগ করলে যোগফল দশক স্থানীয় অঙ্কটির তিনগুণ হয়। কিন্তু সংখ্যাটি হতে ১৮ বাদ দিলে অঙ্কদ্বয় স্থান পরিবর্তন হয়। সংখ্যাটি নির্ণয় করুন।   ধরি, একক স্থানীয় সংখ্যা: ক দশক স্থানীয় : ১০ খ সংখ্যাটিঃ  (ক+১০খ) ১ম শর্তমতে, (ক+খ ) +৭= ৩ খ ২য় শর্তমতে, ক+১০খ -১৮= খ+১০ক ১ম ও ২য় শর্ত সমাধান করে পাই- ক= ৩,  খ=৫ সংখ্যাটিঃ  (ক+১০খ)= ৩+১০*৫= ৫৩ উত্তরঃ ৫৩   ১১. একটি বইয়ের মূল্য ২৪ টাকা, যা প্রকৃত মূল্যের ৮০%। বাকী মূল্য সরকার ভর্তুকির দিয়ে থাকেন। সরকার প্রতি বইয়ে কত টাকা ভর্তুকি দেয়?  অংকটি পড়ে বোঝা যাচ্ছে- ৮০% = ২৪ টাকা ১% = ২৪/৮০ টাকা ১০০% = ২৪*১০০/৮০ টাকা = ৩০ টাকা। অতএব সরকার ভর্তুকি দেয় (৩০-২৪) টাকা = ৬ টাকা উত্তরঃ ৬ টাকা। ১২. a4+a2b2+b4=3 এবং a2+ab+b2=3 হলে a2+b2 এর মান কত? উত্তরঃ  2
