Solution: Let, cost

= 100 tk So, profit

= 100*120/100*90/100- 100 tk

= (108- 100) tk

= 8 tk (ans)

2) 2400/(x-10) – 2400/x = 8
or, 2400(x-x+10) = 8(x^2-10x)
or, x^2 – 10x – 3000 = 0
or, x = 60
Availed in bus = 60-10 = 50

3) 5*(17+3) = 100
6*17 = 102

age = 2

OR,

1. Profit = 120%*90% – 100% = 8%

2400/(x-10) – 2400/x = 8
X^2 – 10x -3000 = 0
(X-60) (X+50) = 0

Present passengers = x-10 = 60-10 = 50
