There is no legal bar for the recruitment of the state-owned Sonali, Rupali and Janata Bank recruitments. The High Court ordered the non-conducting of the subsequent activities with recruitment examination based on the appointment notice given last year. The order of the High Court has been postponed for six weeks by the chamber judge.
Chamber Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain gave the order on Thursday for hearing on an appeal made by Bangladesh Bank Authority.
According to the order, the appointment of eight banks, including the three banks, will be held on January 12 in the first light, said Bangladesh Bank’s Bankers Selection Committee members and General Manager of Bangladesh Bank Mosharraf Hossain Khan. The High Court has directed the government to take eight bank examinations together with the suspension of the three banks, and said, “The High Court has given the suspension.” There is no chance of confusion about it, the test will happen in the meantime. On Sunday, the High Court directed the government-owned Sonali, Janata and Rupali Bank to not take all the activities including senior officials, officers and officials (cash) for recruitment in various posts.
The bench, comprising justices Moinul Islam Chowdhury and JBM Hassan, on the basis of a separate notice issued last year, gave the order along with the Bench ruling.
Earlier, 28 candidates filed for the recruitment of different positions in three banks based on the separate circular of 2016, filed the writ at the end of last year.
The lawyers of the writ petition said in the first light that in the year 2016 the writ petitioners applied for the positions of those three banks on the basis of the central bank’s notification. But the central bank has not yet taken any test. However, for the same post in 2017, the recruitment notice was issued on 23 and 29 August and 7 September last year. Based on this, on 12th January the MKCU exam date has been fixed for senior officer. It is called discrimination. Why the circular will not be declared illegal in 2017 due to the appointment of the three different posts of the three banks, and why it will not be examined on the basis of the notification of 2016 in the light of the announcement in the light of the 2017 notification.
