Solution:

A*120=B*150
=>A:B=5:4 [Efficiency]
Applying MDH method :
120*5= 9*20+5*12+[EC+5]*48
=>600=180+60+48*EC+240
=>600=480+48*EC
=>48*EC=120
=>EC=2.5
Applying MDH method:
120*5=2.5*D
=>D=240 days

Shortcut Method:

A’s 1 day’s work 1/120
B’s 1 day’s work 1/150
[A+B]’s 1 day’s work [1/120+1/
150]=9/600 or 3/200
[A+B]’s 20 day’s work [3/200]*20 =3/10
